Valentine’s Day – Thursday, February 14th
In a few weeks we will once again celebrate the arrival of Valentine’s Day. As of this blog posting, that special holiday of romance and love is only four weeks away and stores and business windows are already being populated with many ideas for celebrating the occasion. Typical gifts of celebration include chocolates, cards, flowers, or arranging meals in restaurants or romantic nights in hotels.Images of hearts, Cupid, red roses and other floral creations are seen practically everywhere. Some people even wait for this holiday to pop the question of marriage or present lavish gifts, such as jewelry, to their special someone.If one is lucky, you might even be presented with a combination of such gifts that indicate how much you really care to a certain someone!
Even though Valentine’s Day is not considered a public holiday, one should not be surprised to see its presence in places of work, homes, offices, schools, and just about anywhere else one would go. After all, it is the day for making known your love to that special someone who has brought so much happiness and joy into your life!
